View of the back area, where the Kitchenette and Bathroom are. There is a closet area on the right side, floor to ceiling separated into two sections, along with various cabinets in the kitchenette. |
Closets to the right of the Kitchenette opened. We've put plastic drawers in these floor-to-ceiling closets, and store lots of class and computer stuff in the spacious compartments. This is also where one of the Ethernet hubs is located. Ethernet hub conveys with the vehicle, and you can have the papers and junk too, if you want it! |

Close-up of the kitchen sink and coffee maker.Kitchen area has under-cabinet lighting, as well as a flourescent ceiling light. GFCI protected 120v outlet above counter. |
Bathroom ShowerThe shower at the very back of the RV is small but usable. We put a tension closet bar in it and use it as a coat closet for students - works great! |
Bathroom SinkSmall vanity with cabinets and the bathroom sink. Fancy paper towel rack conveys too! |
ToiletTypical mobile-home toilet situated next to the bathroom sink, and facing the shower. |
Slide-Out Closed for TravelThe large slide-out section closes for travel. While not really functional as a class room with this room closed, there still plenty of open space inside. Small white-board attached to front wall of slide out. These two tables inside the slide-out have connectors to attach two more tables once the room is extended. This way you can fit all 10 student desks in the room. See the blueprint page for details. |
Electrical PanelPower Panel is located in the wall next to the rear closets. Contains breakers for the two air units, all the lights and various electrical outlets throughout. To the left is the thermostat for controlling the heat and air. |
Driver's CockpitTypical Chevrolet cockpit. Includes a back-up video camera mounted outside with a black & white monitor located to the driver's top right side. This camera turns on automatically when you shift into Reverse, so you can see behind you. Also includes a stereo system with CD player and four stereo speakers mounted throughout the rear classroom. There is a fairly sophisticated alarm system in the RV, with entry sensors on the door and all windows. |
HWH Leveling SystemThe entire truck can be leveled easily with this hydraulic leveling system. LED indicators tell you which side is low, and a simple joystick is used to level it out. This system also handles extending and retracting the slide-out room at the touch of a button. |
Generac 10 Kilowatt Gas GeneratorLocated just behind the main entry door, this huge generator supplies plenty of power. We also have a 'smoke stack' exhaust pipe that routes the generator exhaust out above the Winnebago, to completely eliminate fumes when the door is open. This generator can be started/stopped from the driver's cockpit. |
Onan 6 Kilowatt Commercial GeneratorMounted at the very rear of the truck is a second, 6Kw Onan generator. This is smaller and quieter than the Generac, but not quite as powerful. It struggles to keep both air conditioning units running full bore, so we don't use it much during hot summer months. This generator is started from outside the Winnebago, using a button right on the generator. |
